Purpose. Empowerment. Self-Control. Freedom. Peace.
Therapy is not about finding out what is wrong and “fixing” you. It is about finding your strengths, harnessing your abilities, building skills and working through the barriers that keep you stuck.
I believe counseling is about finding out what you truly want, what works for you and provides the skills needed to achieve your goals. It is action oriented.
I have been working in the field of mental health and substance use in some capacity since 2006, graduating with my masters from UW Oshkosh in 2008. The majority of my experience is working with adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma, symptoms that affect their mental health and/or substance use concerns. I have been with Options Treatment Programs since 2013. I can truly say I love my work and am passionate about what I do every day.
Change isn’t easy- AND it can be so worth it. You do not have to be in it alone. Please contact us for more information or to schedule an appointment.
Christina Eliason, MSE, LPC, SAC
Recovery is a journey worth taking. Change is not easy and yet the rewards at the end are worth it because you are worth it. By building upon your strengths, abilities, and skills you can create a new lifestyle that fits for you.
I have been with Options Treatment Programs since 2015 since graduating from UW Oshkosh with my Master’s degree. I am a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Clinician and a Clinical Case Manager. I truly enjoy the work that we do in promoting long-term change, building on strengths, and finding your purpose. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and using Motivational Interviewing techniques are foundational to my approach in counseling to help you achieve your goals.
I believe that what we believe about ourselves drives our thinking, emotions, reactions and behaviors. With exploration and understanding comes healing from those beliefs systems that no longer serve and we can promote those that help you thrive.
Camille Henseler, MSE, LPC-IT, SAC-IT
I was fortunate to join the Options Treatment Programs team after completing my Master’s Degree at UW Oshkosh in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health. I am passionate about finding what works for each person as an individual. I understand the importance of feeling heard which motivates my work to meet each individual where they are at and where they want to be.
I offer a client centered approach in conjunction with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing that offers those struggling with substance use, trauma, and various difficult facets of life a path to recovery and accomplishing their goals. I recognize that attending counseling can be challenging, and opening up about life may be tough. I offer an environment that is inviting and supportive to ease working on difficult areas in a person’s life.
Prepare to do the hard work. You deserve the benefits it will reap.
Kaitlyn Krohn, MSE, LPC, CSAC, CS-IT
Life is about the journey, not the destination. Everyone needs extra support on their journey at times to help them stay focused on and achieve their goals, and this is where counseling can help.
I am a Mental Health and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor and Clinical Case Manager at Options Treatment Programs. I have been with Options Treatment Programs since 2017. I take an integrative approach, with my main focuses being on Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, and Humanistic approaches to counseling. I enjoy teaching individuals skills to help them manage challenging emotions and high-risk substance use situations. I assist in brainstorming how individuals can achieve their true purpose in life. I help individuals learn how to build a recovery lifestyle for themselves and help individuals pave a path to help them achieve their goals and find happiness in life through both individual and group settings. In addition, I encourage a collaborative approach to achieving ones’ goals by including support persons in clients’ sessions.
Let us be a part of your journey to finding your true purpose in life and finding happiness. You are worth it!
Mercedes Dempsey, MSE, LPC-IT
Bettering ourselves is not an easy journey to take, and yet it is a path we all need to go down if we want to achieve the life we have dreamed of. To find success in this journey of recovery and self-acceptance, one would need empathy, collaboration, and advocation. As a clinician in both Mental Health and Substance Use, I am able to provide these needs through my client-centered approach utilizing Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I am fortunate to be part of Options Treatment Programs after graduating from UW Oshkosh with my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health. I am passionate about destigmatizing mental health and substance use issues to help bring accessible care to those in need. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories. I use evidence-based practices while also incorporating elements of mindfulness and self-compassion, helping clients build resilience and coping strategies.
Ultimately, my goal is to foster a culture of understanding and support for mental health and substance use issues, helping individuals reclaim their lives and find hope for the future. Through my work, I aim to make a meaningful difference. Let’s work together to make a positive difference in your life!
